Well I guess ScribbleDoc turned out to be an unreal iphone app .... I got myself excited at first but as I followed up eventually, it isnon-existent. This would have been a heaven sent application for all nurses. I wish it were real .....LOL.

@BC. I'm sure it works pretty much the same with the iPhone but for ScribbleDoc, I think you need the camera feature for that.

Thanks for the great list of apps! Epocrates works perfect on my iPod Touch, nice and easy. Most of these apps should work on iPod Touch without a problem. A terrific new mobile broadband card called MiFi(Sprint and Verizon have them)works great with Touch for online connection on the go. So no need for an iPhone. Also works for laptops, etc. Very cool!

Yes, the iPod Touch can run the vast majority of iPhone apps - those which are not phone specific.

Pepid.com has been highly recommended by two different instructors, Cathy McJanus at UCSD and David at Ed4nurses.com. It is a combined application instead of having 25 apps to access. If you are considering a Windows Mobile phone MedicalWizards.com has some bundles that are nice too.

Worst iPhone list I've ever seen. #24 (ScribbleDoc) is a tongue in cheek joke, and not even a real app. #10 (ICE) does not help you contact emergency services--it's for the patient's emergency contacts; not emergency services. The only number it has for emergency services is 911--no need for an app there.

Again; worst review I have ever read--you obviously haven't even tried these out. It looks like you opened up iTunes, went to the Medical apps section, then picked 25--except that a couple are incomplete webapps, and one doesn't even exist! Way to go!

Will all of these work with iPod Touch? I can't bring myself to commit to the iPhone's monthly fees, but the iPod Touch seems to have everything minus the phone - is that the case? Thanks!
